Important Information: National IN Calling
National IN Calling requires that Caller-ID be present on each line. If Caller ID is not present, National IN Calling minutes will apply to outgoing calls only. National IN Calling minutes do not apply to calls received when Caller ID is not present. National IN Calling is not available to customers whose wireless exchange restricts the delivery of Caller ID or with fixed wireless devices with usage substantially from a single cell site. Data, Push to Talk usage, and calls to your voice mail will not be rated IN Calling.
Important Information Regarding Push to Talk
Push to Talk calls may only be made with other Verizon Wireless Push to Talk subscribers. Push to Talk is only available within the National Enhanced Services Rate & Coverage Area. There will be a delay from when you initiate a Push to Talk call until the Push to Talk call is first received by the called party. A Push to Talk call is terminated by pressing END or will automatically time out after twenty (20) seconds of inactivity. While you are on a Push to Talk call, voice calls received will go directly to voice mail. When you are on a voice call, you cannot receive a Push to Talk call. Network registration information will be sent to your phone each time you turn on your phone in the National Enhanced Services Rate & Coverage Area, each time you travel into the National Enhanced Services Rate & Coverage Area, and every 12 hours if you stay within National Enhanced Services Rate & Coverage Area. While the updated network registration information is being sent to your phone, you will be able to receive and make a Push to Talk call, and you can make a voice call, but incoming voice calls will go directly to voice mail. You cannot add, delete or modify your contact list from certain phones. You cannot prevent others who have your wireless phone number from entering you into their Push to Talk contact list. Only one person can speak at a time during Push to Talk calls. When using the keypad on your phone to make a Push to Talk call, you must enter the 10-digit phone number of the called party. If a '1' is placed before the 10 digits, or only 7 digits are entered, the Push to Talk call will fail.
