To get home airtime rates, calls must be placed within designated Home Airtime Rate and Coverage Area and on a preferred carrier as defined by the preferred roaming list. Taxes, surcharges and fees apply and may vary. The monthly Federal Universal Service Charge (varies quarterly based on FCC rate) is 2.31% per line as of January 1, 2005. The monthly Regulatory Charge (subject to change from time to time) is $0.05 per line and helps defray the costs of complying with regulatory mandates. Charges end when disconnected from system, which may be a few seconds after you press "END" or "DISCONNECT" Calls to certain fax/data modems incur charges, though it may sound as if call was unanswered. Charges apply on calls to toll-free numbers. Data sessions within the National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area automatically terminate after 24 hours of activity. Data session is inactive when no data is being transferred. Data session may seem inactive while data is actively being transferred to device, or may seem active when it is actually cached and not transferring data. You MUST press or click "END" or "DISCONNECT" button to ensure that session disconnects and charges cease. Data sessions within the National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area may automatically reinitiate without you pressing or clicking "SEND" or "CONNECT" button if you have not terminated your session by pressing or clicking "END" or "DISCONNECT" button. You may be able to send or receive voice calls when your NationalAccess data session is inactive. When this occurs, charges apply simultaneously for voice calls in accordance with Calling Plan. Billing, shipping, and end-user address must be within Verizon Wireless licensed and service area where wireless device number is issued. You are responsible for maintaining virus protection when accessing service. Verizon Wireless calling plans, rate and coverage areas, rates, agreement provisions, business practices, procedures, and policies are subject to change as specified in Customer Agreement.

Unlimited PDA/Smartphone and BlackBerry Plans: Data sessions within the National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area may be used with wireless devices for following purposes: (i) Internet browsing; (ii) e-mail; and (iii) intranet access (including access to corporate intranets, e-mail and individual productivity applications like customer relationship management, sales force and field service automation. Intranet access requires the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.). Unlimited NationalAccess/BroadbandAccess cannot be used with server devices or with host computer applications other than the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Examples of such prohibited uses include, without limitation, Web camera posts or broadcasts, continuous jpeg file transfers, automatic data feeds, telemetry applications, automated functions or any other machine-to-machine applications. Such data sessions cannot be used as substitute for private lines or frame relay connections. Data sessions within the National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area automatically terminate after two hours of inactivity unless used with a Mobile IP capable device. We reserve right to deny or terminate service, without notice, to anyone who uses NationalAccess or BroadbandAccess in any manner prohibited above or whose usage adversely impacts our network or service levels. We also reserve right to terminate service upon expiration of Customer Agreement term. BroadbandAccess kilobyte usage may not appear on your bill.

PDA/Smartphone and BlackBerry Megabyte Plans: Megabyte allowance and charges for kilobytes over the monthly allowance apply to data usage within the National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area; all other usage charged in accordance with calling plan. Data usage within the National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area is rounded to next full kilobyte at end of each billing cycle. Only total of kilobytes transmitted above allowance each billing cycle may appear on bill. You are responsible for all charges, including all data sent and received and "overhead" whether or not you or your recipients actually receive the data. Overhead is all data that is in addition to user-transmitted data, such as control, operational and routing instructions, error-checking characters as well as retransmissions of user-data messages that are received in error. Any unused portion of the megabyte allowance is lost.

The BlackBerry Solution from Verizon Wireless: The e-mail capability of the BlackBerry 6750 Wireless Handheld functions only within the Verizon Wireless National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area. Verizon Wireless NationalAccess service is not available with the BlackBerry Solution. With BlackBerry Handheld software version 3.6, the first 2 kilobytes (KB) of each e-mail are initially received on the BlackBerry 6750 and you can simply request to receive additional 2-KB increments. Some e-mail attachments (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Corel WordPerfect, Adobe PDF, and ASCII text) are delivered to the BlackBerry 6750 when requested by the end user. Graphics are not delivered to the BlackBerry 6750. When the BlackBerry 6750 reaches its storage capacity, e-mail stored on the handheld will automatically be deleted from it, starting with the oldest e-mails first. BlackBerry Desktop Software using desktop redirector does not support POP3 or ISP e-mail accounts.
